Description

Induction Circuit is a self-directed walk that explores the secret domains and hidden sounds of Catherine Street (Limerick, Ireland). Setting off from a designated starting point with a music player and headphones, the participant is encouraged to experience familiar territory anew.

This piece was created for the Catherine Street DIG 2011. As every year passes, the distance between the walk I took and the walk you will take becomes greater. For me, this is one of the most intriguing aspects of the project.

Availability

All you need is a personal music player or mobile phone. Grab the sound files from the website. Download the map if you need it. Then allow yourself an hour to enjoy the walk.
