Hearsay Audio Arts Festival, is billed as “the world’s most beloved audio arts festival” and this is no lie! Radio producers, podcasters, sound art practitioners, educators, and more filled the streets and pubs of Kilfinane, County Limerick, from 7-10 May 2026.

I have been involved from the beginning of this fetival. But this time planned on a quiet weekend as an ordinary punter. But Diarmuid McIntyre had other ideas! He drafted me in for a talk, so I hosted a listening session in the convivial environment of a family home, with fresh bread and jam at the ready.
