Description

This module introduces students to motion graphics. Early animated films are used as models for the students’ own work in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. There are two outcomes. The mid-term project was to create a video integrated with sound. The final project was a live performance using Modul8 VJ software.

There was an emphasis on copyright and ethical use of material. Students either created their own material or sourced material that had the correct permissions.

The teaching assistant for this module was John Galvin, himself a video artist.
