Karst

Description

Karst is a type of landscape formed by the dissolution of rock such as limestone. A famous example of this landscape is The Burren in the West of Ireland, where this video was filmed by Robin Parmar. The video not only shows the unique karst formations of The Burren, but also stunning images created by digitally manipulating the landscape. Karst is from my forthcoming album Gaia. – Mai

The material was filmed over three days in The Burren, County Clare with the assistance of Susannah Kelly. Editing and compositing was done in DaVinci Resolve.
